If you mean gift certificates...

I'm actually thinking of posting an ENTIRE RANT on the subject of how thoroughly I HATE gift certificates. They're as creative and thoughtful as dirt.

I most favor buying without a list, as it's more a true representation of your understanding of the recipient. But a lot of people don't know what games I do and don't own, so I offer them this help that I can. :)

Personally, I LIKE gift certs. They give me the freedom to buy what the I like, when I like. I keep insisting every year that this is all I want, but most people feel like you about the whole thing. Sigh. :-)

I personally love to get gift certificats to places like..oh ANY book store!!! However, I also really like getting other stuff too; it doesn't much matter to me. The fact that someone thought enough of me to get me something thrills me to no end :)
